RMMHA Past Presidents Report

The role of the Past President is to provide guidance to the board of Directors, liaise with the various hockey leagues, shall be an assistant to the President, act as chairperson of a disciplinary committee and shall perform such other duties as shall from time to time be imposed upon him by the board.

This season I undertook the drafting of the By-Laws for the newly formed Osgoode-Richmond Senators Hockey Club. This consisted of several meetings through the summer and spring to come up with By-Laws relating generally to the conduct of the affairs of the Osgoode-Richmond Senators Hockey Club. I am happy to tell you that both the Richmond Munster Minor Hockey Association and the Osgoode-Rideau Minor Hockey Association have ratified the ORSMHC By-Laws at recent board of Directors meetings of each respective association. The Osgoode Richmond Senators Minor Hockey Club is now a stand alone entity with a board of Directors leading this competitive tier 3 initiative.

Fortunately I did not have to chair any disciplinary committee meetings this season on behalf of the RMMHA but did sit on several disciplinary meetings at the LCMHL and District 4 levels.
