lasting Silver Stick tribute ... a committee of volunteers under the guidance of Becky Marr Johnson has crafted a "Birthplace of Silver Stick Hockey" logo painting. This Silver Stick themed tribute will hang for many years at our arena, easily visible for all visitors to the rink as they pass through the back hallway, or come on and off the Richmond Arena ice surface.

The 2009 Annual General Meeting of the Richmond Munster Minor Hockey Association was held on Tuesday April 28th, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the Dining Hall of the Agricultural Society
At a special ODMHA Minor Council meeting on January 24th, 2008, the following AAA Zone boundaries were adopted becoming effective for the 2008/09 playing season.
Osgoode Rideau and Richmond Munster will move from the Ottawa Valley Titans to the Upper Canada Cyclones
Metcalfe will move from the Ottawa Jr. 67's to the Upper Canada Cyclones
South Stormont will move from the Eastern Ontario Wild to the Upper Canada Cyclones
Ottawa West will move from the Ottawa AAA Senators to the Ottawa Jr. 67's

Osgoode-Richmond Hockey Club:
Tier 3/Rep B
RMMHA has merged with the Osgoode Rideau Minor Hockey Association to form the Osgoode Richmond Hockey Club.
Once again the Richmond Ice Palace was the place to be for the Richmond Royals Pee Wee B (pic attached) championship final.
Wednesday March 26 saw the building packed as the whole night was Richmond hockey time.......read more here.

Playoff Champs- PeeWee A
After finishing at the top in the Round Robin of the 2009 Playoffs. the Richmond Royals PeeWee A (pic attached) played their first game against Osgoode Rideau on Wednesday March 25th on their home ice.
The energy in the arena was exhilarating as the parents and fans cheered loud for their teams. The first game, off to a late start due to a minor delay as a result of the RR Peewee B playoff....read more here
RMMHA Summer Ice Sessions
Back by popular demand, the RMMHA is once again offering summer preconditioning camp. There is still room at all levels, but we encourage you to register early as it is first come, first served. Please note that this year, reservations for a spot are only accepted if full payment is received (i.e. no pay per session is being offered)

This is a unique offering by your RMMHA in partnership with Ollson’s Sports Group. All sessions are run by John Ollson and his team.
It is a 20 week program (1 hour per week) and will consist of 2 groups of 30 players. The program will run from October 2009 through March 2010 on Monday or Tuesday night.
Cost: $275 (payable in September).
Members who attended the AGM had an opportunity to sign up. We are seeking interest from those who did not attend. To reserve a spot, simply email Ben St. Jean . Formal registration and payment will occur in September. We encourage you to email now to avoid disappointment, as Ollson and the RMMHA will open this offer to other associations and the public if space is still available. We want to ensure that members of the RMMHA get priority spots

RMMHA Registration 2009-2010
Registration for the 2009-10 season will be held on Monday June 15th @ 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Agricultural Hall (beside the Richmond arena).
If you have a pre-completed form please bring it with you. Instructions, blank forms and the conduct waiver forms (.pdf versions) can be found here. Please complete prior to arriving.
Message from the Osgoode Richmond Hockey Club
Hello RMMHA members!
I am pleased to inform you that the website for the Osgoode Richmond Hockey Club, our competitive Rep B program, is now up and running at ORHC.CA.
Tryouts for Rep B will start on September 6th in Osgoode. There is no pre-registration for tryouts; players simply show up at the arena on September 6th and pay the $80.00 tryout fee. Watch the website in the coming weeks for details regarding specific times.
For anyone wishing to apply for a coaching position, applications for all levels will be accepted until June 30th. Interviews will be held in July.
Looking forward to a fun and successful 2009/10 hockey season!
